Surpassing Kumar Sangakkara during the ODI series against Australia in October 2025. Kohli achieved this milestone with more than 14,250 runs in just 305 matches, holding an impressive average above 57. He now stands behind only Sachin Tendulkar, who leads the chart with 18,426 runs in ODIs.
