Is Ben Stokes becoming the fourth innings king?
Every time there's a tough fourth innings run chase lately, Stokes seems to be the guy England looks to. After his latest performance, do you think Stokes deserves the title of 'fourth innings king' or is it too early to put him in that league? What about his batting approach makes him so reliable under pressure? I'd love to know who you think are the best fourth innings Test batsmen in recent times and whether Stokes is right up there now.

I think he is getting close to that level. If he pulls off a couple more like Headingley or this last one, he's definitely in the conversation with the greats.

Stokes has come through so often that you have to call him one of the best in the crunch. He's calm, takes risks at the right time, and never seems to panic.

His temperament makes the difference. Even with wickets falling, Stokes finds a way to build a partnership and suddenly the game changes. That skill is rare.

Stokes doesn't play on reputation but the scoreboard. His shot selection in tense chases is so good. He just knows when to defend, take singles, or hit out.

There have been some amazing fourth innings players like Laxman and Kallis. Stokes' consistency is making him a modern great for those clutch situations.
