Did India let the third Test slip away at Lord's?

Looking back at the third Test at Lord's, do you think India missed a golden opportunity to secure a win, or did England simply outplay them in the key moments? There were so many twists, especially after lunch on day four when India seemed to be in control. Was it more about strategic errors, poor execution, or just top-class cricket from England that changed the game? Would love to hear where you think things went wrong and what could have been done differently.

Not sure why there wasn't more spin on the final day when the pitch was offering some grip. Bowling changes felt a little too defensive, to be honest.

England just held their nerve better in the critical sessions. Their experience in closing out tight games at home really showed.

Bhai, asli baat toh yeh hai ki hamare players pressure mein thoda ghabra gaye. England waale toh ghar par hi khel rahe the, unko condition ka pura fayda mila! Next time hamara team thoda zyada calm rehe toh match apna ho sakta hai.

Arre yaar, innings set thi toh laga jeet jayenge, par jaise hi wickets girne lage pura mood hi kharaab ho gaya. Mere dad toh bas keh rahe the, "yeh match bhi humne pakad ke chhod diya!" Hamesha clutch moment par hi heartbreak ho jaata hai.

I was really frustrated by the way the middle order batted. There were a couple of reckless shots from players who should know better—no way you win a Test in England with that kind of batting approach.

India were definitely ahead after lunch, but their batting collapse really killed the momentum. I feel like they panicked under pressure and just didn't stick to the basics.

I think England's bowlers deserve massive credit. Every time India seemed to settle, Anderson and Wood found a way to break the partnership. It wasn't just India messing up—it was England raising their game at exactly the right time.

If you look at the stats, India actually created more chances but just didn't take them. A couple of dropped catches and missed run-out opportunities ultimately cost us big time.

Honestly, India's field placements were baffling on day five. Too many easy singles given away, and they didn't attack enough. That let England settle and robbed India of any real chance.

Seems like the turning point was after Jadeja got out. Until then, we looked set, but once he went, the whole team seemed to lose belief. Maybe the management could have promoted someone like Axar to just hold an end.
